VACTOR: The Proven Leader
VACTOR is the name industrial professionals turn to for Combination Sewer Cleaners, Catch Basin Cleaners, Jetters and Hydro Excavation vehicles. All Vactor equipment is engineered and manufactured for durability and reliability, so you can work assured that you can keep going until the job is done.
The Proven Leader in Sewer Cleaning
Cleaning and maintaining sewer lines, catch basins, and storm sewers is essential to the welfare of communities and the clean water they rely on. Effective sewer cleaning trucks help protect the environment by cleaning and maintaining sewer systems in order to help prevent overflows that could pollute fresh water resources. For public works professionals and contractors, the Vactor name is synonymous with sewer cleaning. Jack Doheny Companies is proud to offer the full range of distinct, industry-leading Vactor products customized to suit the needs of our customers – Combination Sewer Cleaners, Catch Basin Cleaners, and water Jetters. For nearly 50 years, Vactor Manufacturing® has been the leader in building sewer cleaning equipment and Jack Doheny has been at their side all this time as an authorized dealer helping provide customer feedback and report industry trends to further improve the Vactor brand.
Combination Sewer Cleaners
The Vactor 2100 Series Combination Sewer Cleaner combines high-pressure water jetting to scour pipes clean and a high-flow vacuum source to vacuum and dispose of the material that can cause blockages. This helps restore and maintain normal sewer flow crucial to waste management. A truly remarkable piece of equipment, all Vactor Combination Sewer Cleaners feature the exclusive Vactor Jet Rodder water pump with jack-hammer action to provide smooth water flow and the power needed for effective sewer line cleaning. In addition there is the optional vacuum sources of either a Centrifugal Compressor (Fan) or Positive Displacement (PD) depending on the application of use. With the Modul-Flex design as well, multiple-sized debris tanks from 3 to 15 cubic yards and water tank capacities from 500 to 1,500 gallons are available.
Vactor 2100 Plus Series
Designed for public utilities and professional contractors cleaning waste water and sanitary systems, the Vactor 2100 Plus combination sewer cleaner features increased vacuum performance, improvements to operator comfort and control, and fuel, air routing and filtration efficiency. Preliminary tests show up to 34% decrease in fuel consumption on the 2100 Plus combination sewer cleaner as well as a reduction of the amount of water needed to thoroughly clean lines by utilizing the standard Multi-Flow water system control.
Vactor 2100 Plus Catch Basin Cleaner (CB)
The Vactor 2100 Plus CB catch basin cleaner provides all of the 2100 Plus combination sewer cleaner benefits—improved air flow, operator ergonomics, enhanced safety, Smart Truck design and standard high dump on tandem axle chassis—but is dedicated exclusively to catch basin cleaning. The Vactor 2100 Plus CB has an improved air routing system that provides an efficient air flow path for both the single-stage and dual stage fan or a positive displacement blower configuration resulting in outstanding performance and maximum productivity.
Vactor 2100 Plus Positive Displacement (PD)
If your job calls for PD technology as opposed to a fan vacuum system, the 2100 Plus PD Model offers all of these features and more. Vactor’s PD blower is chassis-driven directly through a 475 hp continuous-duty transfer case. This not only boosts efficiency and reliability, it also eliminates belts, pulleys, clutches, driveline slip and maintenance. An inlet volume of up to 5,000 cfm and 18 hg significantly increases the velocity pull at greater working depths.
The most productive of its kind, the Multi-Stage blower filtration system features dual air ports which maximize material separation in the debris body, stainless steel ball shutoffs to prevent liquid debris carryover, centrifugal cyclones, which remove escaped particles and condensation, and stainless steel screen strainers which protect the blower from particles as small as 750 microns. Operators have convenient and quick access to the filter screens and quick release pins to remove the float ball screens. The cyclone dump chutes are at the rear of the unit, making the Vactor 2100 one of the most user friendly combination units available.
Vactor 2100 Plus Centrifugal Compressor (FAN)
Vactor Manufacturing has introduced a single engine fan platform solution for the Vactor 2100 Plus sewer cleaner. This addition is a result of the company’s continuing efforts to develop, test and validate superior cleaning equipment. The new model offering continues to deliver improved simplicity, durability and performance to clean sanitary and storm lines, and keep debris out of the ecosystem and fresh water supplies.
The 2100 Plus single engine, single stage fan takes advantage of the unused power available in the chassis engine. This new model utilizes a closed-loop hydrostatic drive system to power the fan vacuum system and has been thoroughly tested and validated to meet Vactor’s standard for quality and durability.
Vactor 2103 Mid-Size
When a full-sized combination sewer cleaner isn’t in your budget, the Vactor 2103 sewer cleaner is the solution in the event of a sewer line blockage, broken storm water line or routine maintenance. Powerful enough to tackle the big jobs—and designed to the same exacting standards as the full-sized models—the mid-sized Vactor 2103 sewer cleaner delivers greater maneuverability on the job and helps keep operating costs low.
The Proven Leader in Vacuum & Hydro Excavation
Supporting Vactor’s innovation and expertise in pneumatics and high pressure water, Jack Doheny has helped communicate the growing needs for safe, productive, and non-destructive excavation within the industry. Effectively and efficiently meeting these needs has led Vactor and Jack Doheny Companies to become the leader in supplying contractors and municipalities alike with the leading line of Vacuum / Hydro Excavators for utilities, oil and gas, telecommunication, and water systems.
Vactor HXX HydroExcavator (PD)
The Vactor Positive Displacement (PD) Vacuum Excavator is the preferred vacuum excavator among contractors with its high vacuum capabilities. The high vacuum capabilities of the Vactor PD allow material to be moved from great depths and distances not achievable with centrifugal compressors
Vactor HXX HydroExcavator (FAN)
The fan air conveyance is ideal for many vacuum excavation applications because it moves an incredible amount of air, excavating more rapidly than other systems. Like all of Vactor’s products, it is easy to operate and maintain, but the fan design is much lighter, has inherently lower noise levels, and is less expensive than the large positive displacement (PD) blowers. The fan system design is also more forgiving than the blower systems; ideal for the less-experienced hydro-excavation operators.
Vactor HXX Prodigy
For power in a compact package look to the mid-sized Vactor HXX Prodigy vacuum excavation truck. The Vactor HXX Prodigy vacuum excavator is the perfect non-destructive machine for utility and municipal applications. Versatile enough to excavate using either air or water as a digging medium, the HXX Prodigy features a 16-inch Hg, 3200 CFM PD blower with a custom-designed and optimized filtration system that can handle both digging mediums—air (185 CFM / 150 PSI) and water (10 GPM / 2500 PSI)—without a bag house.
Vactor HXX Prodigy Air
The Vactor HXX Prodigy Air vacuum excavator is based on the popular Vactor HXX HydroExcavator series and years of vacuum excavation research, customer input, testing and experience. The HXX Prodigy Air midsize vacuum excavator is the perfect non-destructive machine for a wide range of utility and municipal applications including potholing, key hole repairs, utility and line location, precise excavation and general maintenance. Utility companies, utility service contractors and municipalities will appreciate its ease of operation, lighter operating weight and maneuverability in tight spaces. Excavating using air as the digging medium is often the preferred, even required method for utility work such as line locating and repair, and enables dry back-fill for the excavation.
