IBAK FlexiGATOR Cutter System – (4 in. Pipeline Diameters)
The transportable FlexiGATOR system can be used in pipe dimensions from 4 to 8 in. (100 to 200 mm) and the system can be pushed around 6″ (150mm) 90° bends making it particularly suitable for use in lateral pipes.
The system consists of a splash water resistant control box, a cable winch, a supply unit and the FlexiGATOR unit itself allowing modularity which makes the FlexiGATOR easily transportable. In addition the 60-metre-long hybrid supply line allows it to be employed in a wide range of applications and pneumatic outriggers provide excellent stability to hold the unit in place for control during cutting operations.
The brush-less electric motor powers the cutter spindle via a flexible camshaft. This construction allows the high-performance motor to be positioned on the rear of the robot, giving it plenty of space in the working environment and increased cutting power through its unique design.
The FlexiGATOR is equipped with two cameras: one fixed color camera for forward vision and another pan and rotate color camera to give you an excellent view of the working area. This cutting and grinding robot is operated using only electricity. All you need is a power outlet to be able to work with the system flexibly and efficiently allowing for easy operation that can be used without any additional equipment required.
The new pan and rotate color camera is based on IBAK know-how and technology. It has been developed especially for use with electric cutting and grinding robots. It is waterproof and designed to provide a view of all repair and grinding work. Its generous rotational area, along with an LED matrix, ensures the best possible view and lighting of the area being worked on. The camera lens and the LED matrix can be reliably cleaned during operation using water and a rubber blade, thus guaranteeing a permanent clear view. With the help of a gravitation sensor the operator has a better orientation in the sewer. The pressure sensor informs permanently about pressure tightness.
