Guzzler Off-Load Options
No single offloading system is right for every situation, so it is very important to consider specific offloading needs when choosing a system. As new regulations have made dumping tougher, Guzzler continues to lead the industry in meeting the needs of industrial cleaning contractors by offering more application-specific offloading systems than any other manufacturer.
Continuous offloading systems allow Guzzler vacuum truck operators to vacuum and offload at the same time. These systems reduce the downtime of unloading vacuumed material and get the job done quickly. Guzzler’s continuous offload systems include the XCR (swing-out loading cyclone), and the Guzzler sludge pump.
The XCR is the original, patented, continuous production offloading system first introduced by Guzzler in 1986 and is available on the Guzzler CL industrial vacuum loader. The XCR option saves time and money by allowing users to offload material into a variety of collection vessels without interrupting the vacuuming process. It is ideal for catalyst recovery applications.
The XCR performs a wide range of efficient drumming and material recovery operations quickly and easily. Unlike other batch unloading systems, the patented swing-out cyclone delivers true continuous production capability.
The XCR is the only system that delivers simultaneous vacuuming and offloading capability, so no time is wasted on trips to the dumpsite. For controlled unloading into a wide range of disposal vessels, the cyclone can be raised to a 7.5-foot ground clearance and the valves can be operated manually or automatically. The XCR is also available with a catalyst handling package which allows the inert atmospheric capture of pyrophoric material by nitrogen injection.
Sludge Pump Off-Loading
The Guzzler sludge pump provides the option of emptying the body of a Guzzler CL industrial vacuum loader or the Guzzler NX industrial vacuum truck by a valve and hose for liquid or semi-liquid material only. The sludge pump also can be removed from the industrial vacuum loader or vac truck and used to pump material from one location to another by submerging it in the material.
The material is pumped through a six-inch valve located on the rear door. The pump is hydraulically operated by a control located below the master control panel on the Guzzler vacuum truck or industrial vacuum loader.
A batch system is ideal for industrial vacuum loaders performing specific offloading applications that require materials to be vacuumed first and offloaded later. Batch systems work well when the flow of materials needs to be regulated or there is a long distance to the offload container. Guzzler offers a wide selection of batch offloading systems for its industrial vacuum trucks, including the high-dump, pressure offload and the Guzzler sludge pump.
There are two Pressure Offloading systems available, the Dense Phase offloading and the Vane Pump offloading. Both systems are available on the Guzzler NX and the vane pump offload is available on the Guzzler CL Vacuum Trucks.
Dense Phase Off-Loading System
An advanced offloading and recovery tool, the Guzzler Dense Phase offloading system combines applied pressure with high airflow for true dense phase conveyance of dry material up to 125 feet vertically. This system is ideal for cement or bulk powder applications.
Material can easily be blown back into storage silos, rail cars or other appropriate containers. The Guzzler NX’s patented vacuum recovery returns any carryover during the vacuuming application back to the tank, closing the loop in the load and unload process for complete material recovery.
Vane Pressure Off-Loading System
The vane offloading system utilizes a Rotary Vane pump to pressurize the debris body at a maximum of 14.5 psi to offload material. The Rotary Vane pump (also called Sliding Vane Vacuum Pump) is designed to handle all types of liquid wastes and slurries and is ideal for the Oil and Gas, Industrial Waste, Grease, and Septic markets. The Rotary Vane pump can also be reversed to create a vacuum of up to 28.5” Hg. for vacuum loading of liquids and slurries.
The Guzzler NX industrial vacuum truck is available with a high-dump option that dumps debris directly into roll-off boxes up to five feet high. Using a heavy-duty, telescopic, hydraulic cylinder at the rear of the Guzzler NX vac truck chassis, the debris body lifts upward and slightly backward for extra clearance, ensuring more efficient dumping. The Guzzler vacuum truck operator can choose to dump debris in either normal- or high-dump mode.
The high-dump option on the Guzzler NX Industrial vac truck is as simple as selecting high dump mode and pressing the dump button for a quick, easy, and operator friendly high dump offload solution.
