JDC's 45th Equipment Show & Technical Seminar
On Thursday May 7th, Jack Doheny Companies (JDC) held its 45th Equipment Show & Technical Seminar at their recently renovated headquarters in Northville, Michigan. This event marked the Grand Opening of a new 75,000 square foot state of the art service and office facilities. In attendance for this customer appreciation celebration were over 1,000 Municipal and Industrial customers from throughout the Midwest participating in technical seminars and equipment demonstrations.
Featured at the seminar was Federal Signal's popular Bronto Skylift S-197 HDT, an aerial access utility vehicle which took visitors up to heights of 70 feet over Lake Success. The full portfolio of JDC's industrial vacuum equipment was on display along with the Pipeline Inspection Division's exhibition of several facility built trucks. Also introduced was a flying Drone demonstration from CV Media (Northville, MI) and four of Doheny Technical Institute's continuing education credited classes covering subjects like Hydro-Excavating, Sewer Cleaner Operation, Confined Space Entry / Air Monitoring, and Pipe Cleaning Nozzle Reviews.
Over 25 industry vendors exhibited on site, including Rapidview IBAK, Vactor Manufacturing, Enz Nozzles, and Wastequip's Cusco, all of whom count JDC as a key marketing partner for Sewer Cleaning, Vacuum Excavation, DOT, and Industrial Vacuum equipment.
In addition to the educational seminars, demonstrations, and training events, attendees entered to win a variety of promotional prizes including a 50 in. flat screen television, Detroit Tigers Baseball tickets, and various gift cards. Visitors also enjoyed a wide selection of local foods and imported Texas brisket brought in and specially cooked by the JDC Houston team in their custom designed JDC truck smoker!
